Prophetic Indigenous voices on the planetary crisis – A lament in the present and a horizon of Good. 

Nau mai, Haere mai, Me’a mai,

You are all welcome to this wānanga and talanoa. This is a wānanga and talanoa (presentation and discussion) across the Anglican Communion.

God has given us this gift of life, of the earth, and of all creation. It is a gift, a present, an offering. We are the earth’s kaitiaki (guardians) and we have failed in our responsibility to ‘cultivate and care for the earth.’ As Indigenous people, we cannot turn our back on our brothers and sisters, on mother earth.

This is our koha from Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia, Monday 30thNovember @ 3pm (NZDT).

Celebrate Te Wiki o te Reo Māori with us Te Wiki o te Reo Māori (Māori Language Week) will be held from 14-20 September and we are encouraging our alumni and friends to download the University’s Te Kūaha app, to learn te Reo Māori. In this article Professor Cynthia Kiro, Pro Vice-Chancellor Māori, talks about the University’s ambitious plan to promote and use te reo Māori within our community.
